The Ultimate Collection Starring Johnny Carson

This collection of classic moments from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson gets a polished presentation on DVD. The material on The Ultimate Johnny Carson Collection has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo (some of the material from earlier episodes appear in mono). Bonus material includes outtakes and backstage footage, a collection of clips of comedy stunts Carson did for the show, a short documentary on The Tonight Show's history, an alternate angle recording of Carson's final Tonight Show appearance, a look back at Johnny Carson's career, a list of guests who appeared on the show, a gallery of photos, and more.

John William “Johnny” Carson (October 23, 1925 – January 23, 2005) was an American television host and comedian, known as host of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson for 30 years (1962–1992). Carson received six Emmy Awards including the Governor Award and a 1985 Peabody Award; he was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 1987. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992, and received Kennedy Center Honors in 1993.

Although his show was already hugely successful by the end of the 1960s, it was during the 1970s that he became an American icon and the "best guest" in American homes up until his retirement in 1992. Carson is credited with molding modern television late night talk shows, transitioning the format from Ed Sullivan's era of post-war vaudeville-derived variety where the host was merely an announcer of acts, to today's more casual, conversational approach with extensive interaction with guests. Late night hosts David Letterman, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Fallon have all cited Carson's influence on their late night talk shows, which greatly resemble Carson's show in format and tone.

When using TPB please read these important notes:

01- Anti-malware apps may warn about keygens, patches, cracks, etc., because of
their capabilities, (generating codes, etc.). Sometimes they're added to
the virus/spyware database and will be detected as malware. If you don't trust
the keygens, patches, cracks, etc., don't use them.

02- Before running .exe-files, keygens, patches, cracks, etc., always check first
if they can be unpacked. Often some third party added a virus to the
original file, repacked it and uploaded it again.

03- Letting anti-malware apps send scan results to their companies can cause
keygens, patches, cracks, etc., to be added to their virus-database.

04- Firewalls which are set to automatically determine connections will allow
apps & malware!. Avoid this by manually configuring your firewall.

05- Usually (new) torrents with many downloads and seeders in a brief period is
suspicious! Torrents with the Skull & Crossbones icon are trusted.

06- Some people use multiple accounts and post fake comments
and/or files trying to spread confusion. They seldom seriously
comment or have any torrents, or a just a few to look passable.

07- Clicking on unknown links can cause malware to be installed on your machine.

08- In general often there are more fake and negative comments than reliable and
    positive comments.

09- In some countries uploading/downloading copyright protected material is
forbidden, but showing some appreciation to reliable up-loaders is not.

10- Posting fake and negative comments or fake/infected uploads on TPB can result
    in getting banned from TPB!

I had a commercial copy of this, but foolishly lent it out. Very glad to be able to replace it. Thanks for the up.
Thanks!
Many thanks for your generous sharing!
Great upload. A true legend is Johnny. I'm too young to have seen the final Johnny episode of May 22, 1992, and wanted to after watching Jay's curtain call last night. My guess is Fallon's last episode will be "archived" on YouTube or whatever appears in the future ~10-20 years from now. (That is, *if* he doesn't tank.)

BTW, does anyone know if the old Steve Allen and Jack Parr series are available on video, or have these been lost to history?
Thanks
